China is the one of oldest nation in the world, the Chinese music culture can be chase back to the 3080 years ago to the Zhou Dynasty. The Erhu is one of most unique Chinese music instrument in the Chinese music history. The Erhu classify as two-stringed bowed musical instrument. It has been describe as "Chinese violin" or "Chinese two-stringed fiddle" by the western courtiers. Sometimes it also been called as "southern fiddle". It is often used in Chinese traditional music performance, It is a solo play Chinese instrument, but also been use in small ensembles and large orchestras. The Erhu has incredible expressive, specially capable of imitating sounds from natural, like the Birds chirping. 

Erhu is classified as Chinese traditional music instrument but in today's society, it also been use in the in pop, rock and jazz music performance. Which also indicates the changes in the music culture in modern society. As i always believes the music instrument is not just the tools that been use in the performance, its the part of the music, Like Erhu, if anyone is mention about the Erhu, the first idea that pop up from your head must be the Chinese traditional music, that is power of the must instrument, they are representing the part of the music culture and history.
