Rhythm Games

Have you ever listened to a piece of music and heard a tune that just kept you nodding your head or tapping your foot to the beat? There are games, rhythm games, that challenge a person's sense of rhythm while dancing or using simulated musical instruments to keep in time with notes that appear on the screen. There are also games which test a player's rhythm and pitch by singing in to a microphone.
There are many different rhythm games out there, and all of which are played differently. The main thing in common with all of these games, is the style of music, fast paced with lots of emphasis on beats.

Some of these games allow you to store your own music in a folder from which to play with. Why would you do this instead of just casually listen to it? I don't have an answer for that. But for some people, me included, I enjoy the challenge of completing a game where one of my favourite songs is playing alongside it. This also allows you to play more of the same songs since they're songs you love to listen to.
